If the Family Selection Committee feels that the applicant is ready and qualified to become a Habitat homeowner, the application will be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval. The application and selection process may take up to six months.

HOW IT WORKS

Our work is possible because of the more than 2000 volunteers working together with our homeowner families. Students, seniors and people of all ages and skill levels labor with love to build houses. Others spend countless hours investigating new sites, raising money and selecting homeowners. Contributions of funds, materials and labor from individuals, churches, businesses and student organizations make Habitat homes a reality.

A FAIR HOUSING PROVIDER

Habitat for Humanity International meets all Federal guidelines for nondiscrimination. Race, color, handicap, age, sex, religion, national origin, and family structure are not factors in the selection process for Habitat houses.
